The Rev’d. Dr. John Roddam is perhaps best known as a proficient networker, making friends and connecting people and ministries wherever he goes, using whatever means are at his disposal. With that in mind, here are some of the minstries in Canada, the USA, and throughout the world, with which he has connected, and which he recommends.
Together Canada seeks to mobilize Canadian Christians to work together to impact their communities. They encourage, advise, strengthen and equip the leaders of the many city-church transformation movements that are working to bring unity to the Church and to see the gospel of Christ impact their communities in every sphere of society.
Intercessors for Canada is a group of Canadian Christian leaders and intercessors who seek God to hear what He is saying to our nation. It is their prayer that through the ministry of IFC you will be strengthened in your prayer life, and that a Spirit of Prayer will come upon you for Canada.
Redleaf House of Prayer, schools, conferences, and strategic, national prayer thrusts. They are intergenerational, interdenominational and love the Body of Christ. They are working on every front they can to help restore and sustain the fire of prayer into the heart of the Church.
They also serve by chairing the facilitating team of the Ears2Hear Prayer Leaders Council, which means actively investing in what Jesus is doing to bring unity to the Canadian prayer movement.
The National House of Prayer has been established since 2005 and is committed to praying for the Government of Canada. Their heart is to establish an ongoing positive
Christian presence in Canada’s capital as they seek to fulfill 1 Timothy 2:1-3. “I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone: for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Saviour.” They attempt to do this by having an on-going presence of praying people in the halls of our Federal
Government. Intercesssors attend the daily Question Period, sit in Senate sessions, position themselves in
Committee meetings and make appointments with individual Parliamentarians. They intercede in the official Prayer Chapel, prayer-walk the grounds of Parliament Hill, visit the Supreme Court, and the Governor General’s residence and pray with Christians groups from the many different departments of national Government.
Ears to Hear is a councel of senior leadership in the prayer movement in Canada, These are typically leaders who actively oversee a ministry that is city-wide in scope, however some are national leaders and a few lead denominational networks. It is based on two foundational beliefs, that God speaks to his people, and that as we discern His will, and
unite strong prayer in agreement with His will - our prayers will bear maximum fruit. The phrase, "Ears to Hear" is repeated by Jesus throughout scripture, but it is drawn from the letters to the various churches in the Book of Revelation, "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches". (Rev 2:7) It's a call for all churches in all conditions, nations, and ages to listen to the Spirit and obey, which always leads to overcoming and blessing. This is their posture as they seek to empower the Canadian prayer movement with the rehma prophetic sounds.
Heartbeat Ministries is a cross-denominational, cross-generational ministry that God has raised up to facilitate healing and restoration in the body of Christ through prayer and training. Birthed in prayer our goal has never been wholeness but rather intimacy with Christ. Wholeness as a goal will lead us off track and cause us to focus on ourselves. We seek intimacy with Christ that we might walk in His love and give it away. Unhealed areas of our life block this intimacy. Healing takes place as we encounter Christ. Our goal is to first help people to encounter Christ in their areas of brokenness and then to see them
equipped to facilitate others. Heartbeat Ministries is part of the Partners in Harvest network of churches and ministries pursuing revival under the leadership of John and Carol Arnott, Founding Pastors of Catch The Fire Toronto.
Ellel Ministries Canada is a non-denominational Christian ministry that began in England in 1986 and is now established in over 20 countries around the world. We look to serve the Body of Christ in two main ways - by offering personal prayer ministry to those in need and by training and equipping people so that they can help others more effectively.
Wholeness Through Christ (WTC) is a scripturally-based, Spirit-led ministry to the whole person. The lay and ordained team members who minister come from a variety of church denominations and fellowships. Team members have experienced a growing wholeness through the ministry which has enabled spiritual growth and development in their own lives. Team members volunteer their time and giftings and are not professional counselors. As WTC is a prayer ministry dependent on the Holy Spirit, intercessory prayer is foundational. Intercessors support the ministry on an ongoing basis, and they specifically pray during WTC events for each participant. Intercessory prayer is an integral part of this ministry and all are invited to share in this essential role.

Ministries. Their consuming passion is to discover what
take to see a move of God initiated and sustained in a geographic area. Prayer Summits are the primary medium they use to get where they are going. But they are the pathway, not the destination. Ultimately they are about seeing God impact an area through His church so that more and more people give Him His rightful place in their lives. Their motto is ‘Building the church to impact the community.’ They want to see the church of Jesus Christ be built to the point where it has a great impact upon the community around it. They have helped facilitate approximately 1,000 prayer summits since 1989 with more than 38,000 total participants in attendance. The outcome has been many marvelous testimonies. Countless stories have been told of God bringing renewal to individuals,
marriages, families, congregations, and communities.

personal repentance and prayer, to create appropriate materials, and to mobilize the Christian community to intercede for America’s leaders and its families. advanced by sensitive, persistent prayer offered openly by God’s people on behalf of those who have yet to believe and follow Christ. That’s why they equip and encourage Christians to pursue a vision of living in a prayed-for community, and of course, a prayed-for world. Participating in this kind of “saturation prayer,” out-bounded, as it were, from personal concerns, can help Christians move into what we call “prayer mission” with God. When
Christ’s glory is enhanced and
people co-labor with God by prayer, Christ is centralized and glorified. Hurting and broken people are seen for what they can become in Christ. We see where God desires to do miraculous things, as well as the matters where we simply need to serve people.
